Welcome to the Sioux Empire Kennel Club (SEKC) located in
Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

The SEKC is a group of dog lovers who participate in all
venues of competition. The objective of the club as stated in
the Constitution is: to encourage and promote the quality of
purebred dogs and to do all possible to bring their natural
qualities to perfection; to urge the members and breeders to
accept the standard of the breed as approved by the
American Kennel Club as the only standard of excellence by
which dogs shall be judged; to conduct Sanctioned Matches,
All Breed Shows and Obedience Trials under the Rules of the
American Kennel Club; to promote responsible, enjoyable pet
ownership by the general public through scheduled
professional training classes offered for all dogs. Everyone is
invited and we encourage you to get involved. It is a great
opportunity to meet new friends and have fun. It is also a
great learning experience.
